As Cognition reaches $492 million in annualized revenue run rate, it more than doubled its valuation in eight months, it says.
Founders Fund, the Peter Thiel-backed VC, led Cognition’s latest round, with participation from existing investors like Lux Capital, Joe Lonsdale’s 8VC, Elad Gil, Definition Capital and Swish Ventures.
Cognition is also laying off 30 employees. Those who take the buyout are expected to work 80+ hour weeks.
